PNP wants to know all the details of your site.
You call for information or to place an order with PNP: At this step we consider every detail of your installation to assure protection of your assets, and to supply the best netting product for your application. Be prepared as we will ask you the following questions:
-- Your application
What is the smallest thing that has to be kept in? Kept out? What do you want to protect? A building? Valuable birds? Exotic Fish? Hydroelectric facility? An endangered species? Employees or people passing by?
-- Environmental conditions
What challenges must the netting endure? Extreme heat? Punishing ultra violet rays? Ice, rain, snow, or severe winds? How long must it last? Is your site indoors or outdoors? Is the environment corrosive? Is low visual impact an issue? Is abrasion resistance important? Should it float or sink? Are protective coatings necessary?
-- Netting material selection
There are four very important factors to consider here: fiber type, twine diameter, mesh size, and netting weave type. Fiber choices include: Nylon, Polyester, Multifilament Polypropylene, Polyethylene, and Spectra/Dyneema to name a few. Each different netting type offers a different degree of strength, abrasion resistance, buoyancy, UV resistance, cost, etc. Twine types include braided and twisted and a large selection of diameters. Mesh sizes are virtually limitless, from fractions of an inch to very large. Custom mesh sizes are readily available. Netting weave types include knotted and knotless constructions and also very heavy/strong handmade types. Almost any burst strength is achievable. It is critical that we help you to select the proper netting material for your site.
-- Size and shape
PNP can provide flat panels, curved panels, compound curved panels, multiple jointed surfaces, and enclosures of any size and shape. Whether very small, multi-acre or even several miles, PNP will suit your site requirements perfectly.
-- Installation hardware
Your netting is useless without proper installation arrangements. We inquire about your needs to help select high quality and affordable hardware, cable and tensioning devices. Plastic or stainless? Synthetic or steel?
-- How should the finished installation look?
Aesthetics may be important. Do you need a special color? Is a tight rigid surface required? Must spectators easily see through the surface? Is shading affect desirable? Is a natural organic look advantageous? Here we are limited only by your imagination.
