Debris and Environmental Management

Effective Debris and Environmental Management with MultiFunction Booms™

Managing debris and environmental conditions is simplified with PNP’s HDPE MultiFunction Booms™. These booms offer a highly adaptable floating platform designed to tackle various challenges, including wood debris, floating man-made waste, ice, turbidity, algae, and even water temperature control. As a result, they provide a comprehensive solution for environmental management across diverse applications.

Enhanced Performance with Customizable Keel Options

The keel of the MultiFunction Boom can be customized to suit specific conditions. It can be modified with the following options:

  • heavy-gauge steel mesh
  • high molecular strength netting
  • HDPE material
  • rubber skirting

Additionally, the keel can be equipped with a high-mil vinyl curtain for applications that involve controlling turbidity, managing algae blooms, or regulating water temperature. Consequently, these customizations make the MultiFunction Boom a versatile tool for addressing complex environmental issues.

Cost-Effective Protection for Biological Receptors and Infrastructure

The MultiFunction Boom provides a practical and cost-effective way to protect sensitive biological receptors and critical infrastructure. Markedly, they minimize the impact of environmental changes and floating debris, ensuring the safety and integrity of essential assets.

Scalable Solutions for Any Environment

MultiFunction Booms™ can be scaled to virtually any size, offering significant improvements on a large scale. Additionally, for high-energy or heavy debris environments—such as those involving loads ranging from 50 to 500 kips—we offer the specialized Safeguard Boom series. This series is engineered to withstand extreme conditions while maintaining performance and durability. As a result, PNP’s booms are capable of handling the most demanding applications, providing robust solutions for even the toughest environments.

PNP continues to deliver advanced solutions that address complex debris and environmental management challenges. Our MultiFunction Booms™ and Safeguard Boom series ensure effective performance, long-term durability, and reliable protection in any setting.
