Custom Game Bird Netting for Aviary
Pacific Netting Products (PNP) provided custom game bird netting for Beavers Game Farm, a renowned pheasant farm in Pierceville, Kansas. The farm sought a durable and reliable netting solution to create a safe and comfortable environment for its birds. As part of an ongoing upgrade to their pheasant enclosures, PNP worked closely with the farm to design a netting system tailored to meet their specific needs.
The result is a bird-friendly netting system that offers year-round protection. It stands up to Kansas’ harsh weather, providing both strength and longevity. The netting shields the birds from extreme winds and predators, ensuring a safe, secure habitat where the pheasants can thrive.
Maintaining a Pure Kansas Blueback
Beavers Game Farm, established in 1988, is known for its dedication to maintaining the pure Kansas Blueback genetic strain. The farm acquired this distinctive strain from Bernie Jensen in the early 1990s. They have since established a closed flock that is both NPIP (National Poultry Improvement Plan) and AI (Avian Influenza) clean. This commitment to maintaining high genetic standards has helped position Beavers Game Farm as one of the premier pheasant farms in the region, ensuring the preservation of this valuable breed.
