A Hub for Conservation Collaboration
Pacific Netting Products is pleased to announce its participation as an exhibitor at the upcoming AFS WA/BC Seas to Summits: Connecting Habitats, Species, and People conference in 2026. The event will take place April 6 through April 9 in Wenatchee, Washington.
This joint conference is hosted by the Washington-British Columbia Chapter of the American Fisheries Society and the Washington Chapter of The Wildlife Society. Together, these organizations unite professionals from across the region. Their shared focus is conserving and sustaining aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems.
As a result, the conference creates an important space for collaboration among fisheries scientists, wildlife managers, researchers, and industry partners. These professionals work collectively to protect habitats and species throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
Promoting Sustainable Fisheries
Founded in 1870, the American Fisheries Society stands as the world’s oldest and largest organization dedicated to advancing fisheries science and management. AFS works to improve the sustainability of fish and aquatic ecosystems by combining science, education, and policy advocacy. The organization addresses pressing challenges such as habitat loss, invasive species, water quality issues, and climate change. All of which threaten nearly 40 percent of North America’s freshwater fish species.
The American Fisheries Society’s mission focuses on improving the conservation and sustainability of fishery resources and aquatic ecosystems. This mission very closely aligns with Pacific Netting Products’ long standing commitment to responsible aquaculture and effective fisheries management.
